Overview

The T344 is a compact 4-channel, 32 MHz waveform generator. It incorporates four DDS waveform synthesizers that may be used independently or synchronously to produce polyphase signals. Waveforms include sine, triangle, sawtooth, noise, and precision square/PWM outputs. User-loaded arbitrary waveforms may be generated.

Test relays allow any output to be diverted to a test connector for in-system calibration verification. Built-In-Self-Test is provided.

The T34x family of generators includes the T340 and T346

Features

  • Four independently programmable waveform outputs: sine, triangle, sawtooth, square/PWM, Gaussian noise, and arbitrary waveforms
  • Channels may be synchronized for coordinated polyphase or time-sync'd signals at same or ratio frequencies. Multiple T344's may be sync'd.
  • 0-32 MHz outputs with milli-Hertz resolution.

OUTPUTS

Four sine, sawtooth, triangle, or square/pulse/PWM outputs; programmable frequency, amplitude, phase, and DC offset.

User-specified arbitrary waveforms, 4096 points per channel. Each ARB waveform is generated by a 128 M s/s DDS. Single waveform sweeps may be triggered.

Gaussian noise, 0-2 MHz programmable bandwidth.

14 bit DAC output resolution. Channel summing included.

Two programmable voltage ranges, +-5.12 volts and +-1.024 volts peak, 50 ohm impedance.

FREQUENCY RANGES

High range, 0-32 MHz with 14.9 mHz resolution

Mid range, 0-4 MHz with 1.8 mHz resolution

Low range, 0-250 KHz with 116 uHz resolution

ACCURACY

Output amplitudes +-2%, -3 dB max at 32 MHz

Frequency +- 20 PPM, lockable to external 10 MHz source

CONNECTORS

Power, 2.5 mm coaxial, center positive

RS-232 and alternate power, D9 female

COMMUNICATIONS
RS-232 standard, 38.4 kbaud.
Optional 10/100 Ethernet.
